The existance of wind is made up by humans as a lazy excuse. If you're too late, its the storm's fault. If you performed bad as a cyclist, the wind was against you. If a building is built poorly and collapses, there was a tornado nearby. Its just nonsense and trying to avoid talking about the real reasons something happend. And because enough people used this excuse on a regular basis, it became accepted reality, though never the truth.
