Description:
The weather is a turbulent study of inconsistent predictions and volatile conditions that can take lives and destroy civilizations. How often have we been mad at the local weather person for incorrectly predicting the dayβs conditions? The weather is unpredictable, and there are numerous variables that can change a forecast at the drop of a hat. Mother Nature and environmental conditions caused by man all work together to create todayβs weather. Hot and cold air can create terrifying tornadoes that wipe out entire towns, simple conditions can create hurricanes that turn oceans into vortexes.
From rain to snow, the weather dictates the course of our regular lives. Snow days prevent us from going to school and work. Rain can evolve and escalate into flooding and cause our greatest assets to float away. There are different parts around the world that are exposed to different levels of sunlight and makes the weather different all over the world. There is no one set stagnant weather condition. For example, the far north and far south are the coldest parts of the world, while places by the equator are some of the hottest.
Blame it on global warming or the evolution of our environment, but the weather seems to be getting stranger with each passing year. Here are some of the strangest weather occurrences that have happened throughout history. From snow in Southern California to hot conditions in Arctic cities, these occurrences are grim reminders that nothing is set in stone, not even the weather.

Okay, I live in Temecula and that snow was SUPER COOL! It was very rare and happened on New Year's Eve I believe. I made a snowman and snow angels for the first time! π
Yep
That's not the movie twister it's into the storm. you were thinking of a different movie.
We had an ice storm in Tennessee 2 years ago.
I saw thundersnow for the first time in my life 3yrs ago. It was late Oct and was a mild day and evening when suddenly ferocious winds with wet snow started out of nowhere with thunder and lightning. It was kind of freaky.
I laugh at people who think an inch of snow is treacherous and cities shut down. I get it for areas that never see snow so they're not equipped with snow tires, block heaters etc. I grew up in BC where we rarely saw a lot of snow and it was usually gone in a day or two but I found it ridiculous that people freaked out every time it snowed. Uhhh, you have to have chains and/or snow tires through any mountain range so I don't understand why people aren't prepared. My hometown shut down for a week last year because of the snow they got and people were trapped in their homes because the streets weren't plowed. Granted it was heavy but it always is because of the humidity and mild temperatures. They get at least one big dump of wet snow a year so they should have been prepared to some degree even though it's a beach resort and village. Hardly anyone there knows what a block heater is and gets confused when they see vehicles with 3 prong plugs coming out of the hood of vehicles and plugins in parking lots in Alberta or any other province that gets snow. In Alberta we see 6mths of snow a year but it's getting milder every year. Roads aren't closed very often and we see storms leaving 3ft of snow at a time. When I first moved here all of the major roads had snow piles over 5ft high for most of the winter in the middle of the street with the snow plowed through the wall of snow only at major intersections and main residential streets.
IM SORRY MOUNT TAMBORA WAS ON SUMBAWA, INDONESIA!! NOT THE DUTCH EAST INDIES!!
Living in the equator means no seasons ,just rainy and sunny seasons. In kenya,mt kenya
that Antarctic heat will only get MUCH worse and NOT a once in a lifetime occurrence!!
WOW thatβs so rare
Crazy
While watching this, it's actually snowing!
1:50 I live about 20 miles north east of Temecula at a higher elevation as well and the snow was a welcome sight. It was not the first time that I have seen the snow here in Perris and I am sure it will not be the last. They were telling people days ahead of time that it was coming and people still felt the need to go out in it with their civics only to be stuck on the side of the road. Some people will never learn.
We had thunder snow in 2017
Iβve always wondered if there was ever a catastrophic event and people were starting to get hungry would McDonaldβs shut down and allow the people to eat the cows or would McDonaldβs continue and the government demand people to only eat the cows at McDonaldβs
I was in a thundersnow and it was a awesome experience. And I also had been in a warning that included twin tornadoes and they both were EF1.
So glad to live in floride
Us Canadians Giving The Snow To Americans 'Cause We Don't Want It Anymore.

What about when this year in…TEXAS all the way down to galvaston we had a white winter!I live in cypress and got a TON of snow
Ummm….twin tornados happen quite often in Oklahoma. I'd say at least every 3 years.
Oh mer god snow! The world is gonna end!
waka waka aye aye
actually twin tornados happen a lot, they're just not reported that often and if they are then they don't cause a lot of damage or no damage at all. Only the more damaging ones are reported
I remember the 2007 ice storm. I was in 4th grade and we lost power for 2 week. It was crazy

Dang, the year of 2011 was a weird, and scary year. Thunder snow, snow…snow everywhere, the Japan tsunami, the Joplin tornado, and probably plenty of other occurrences.
Anyone noticed "corona" in 2:05 π€£π€£
I remember that ice storm. I remember it because me and my brother were almost killed by a falling power line pole. It landed a foot in front of where we were walking. If we'd walked faster or went out just a second later, we would be dead. It just fell without warning. That, in addition to 2 weeks without power and heat. It was a nightmare. π
