Hank describes three of the whackest weather phenomena on Earth: atmospheric rivers, fire tornadoes, and ball lightning. Super interesting and super weird.

i saw the third weather phenomena , a lighting ball went in side my aunts house during rain and we all thought is was jinn or spirit .
We had ball lightning in our family's house in CO when we were kids. There was a BIG "regular" strike just outside the house and a glowing light-gold "fuzz ball" came down the stove exhaust vent. It fell to the edge of the stove and broke in half when it touched the range.
The two halves both exhibited Brownian motion. One went away when it touched the table leg, the other when it touched the nose of our curious dog (with no reaction).
Both our next door neighbors had very similar things happen
through their exhaust vents as wellat the same time.I make several balls of lightning when I'm on the crapper.
lmfao get fucked west coast
If anything, california reeeally needs another one of those rivers right now.
Sunny, Windy, Cloudy, and Rainy at the same time?
Yup, Hank's definitely lived in Florida.
As i was watching this (on a rainy day to) the local emergency management decided to test the tornado sirens
forget fire tornadoes, have you ever heard of LUMINOUS tornadoes?
they are a mysterious blue or orange glow that has been reported during violent late night tornadoes, and the reports describe the funnel glowing with an electric blue light. One account described the funnel like a layered neon tube, with a bright blue glow around the outer part with a brilliant orange light in the center, which would gush out when the tornado would lean to the side. Go look it up, its pretty crazy
Georg Richmann sounded like Gaylord Richmann which would the greatest name ever.
picks up coke can
"What's this bra?"
"It's a can bra"
THAT's how you pronounce Canberra.
I remember the fire storm in Canberra. The scariest part about the whole thing was seeing both my parents looking visibly worried.

Both my grandparents has witnessed ball lightning. Pretty sure it's almost impossible to photograph. You can't predict it and it's over in a flash.
The clouds tell you , hey you humans and animals it is going to rain…..How ever clouds are not rain source but the can tell you how much rain is going to fsll.
I saw ball lightning once in my room. It was a reddish white ball of bright plasma the size of a raisin. It phased through my table like it was nothing and continued to drop to the leg off the table. When it touched the leg it suddenly came out to the very bottom of the leg to the floor as a faint red spark with audible crackle.
Crazy how 2019 had the worst flood in history in the Midwest and southern United States. The ar runnith over.
Er ma gerd. I love you so much. And for all the haters. Just appreciate the wealth of knowledge he passes along.
Define "Whack" in scientific terms….SciShowman.
I don't think anyone cares about how it's pronounced, the man's doing his job.
Now we just need to combine 1, 2, and 3 together with sharks and laser beams!
Ball Lightning is real! I saw it once! I seriously thought they were UFOs. Three of them in the sky just sitting there for a few minutes then they got closer and closer slowly and then zoomed away. I seriously thought it was the end – until i learned about ball lightning.
""I'm talkin' like nut bar."" LOL Oh Hank!
Ball lightning… it's a thing! I saw it once — one time only in my life. It was about the size of a golf ball and it was just floating about three or four feet off the ground. It moved very slowly through the air, and it hit our metal fence, and the minute it hit the fence it disappeared.
lol, you were even cuter in 2013. Just how old were you?
Umm the peshtigo. Fire that happened on the same day as the great Chicago Fire was far worse
