I thank God that I live in a part in California where all we experience is hot weather and cold winters, no snow only strong winds. The only bad earthquake was back in 1999

If you see a storm chaser that has that deer in the headlights look on his face get the hell away from him. Clearly, this is an amateur who knows nothing what he's doing and will get you all killed. I live in a small town in Arkansas called Turrell and I've never seen a tornado 🌪️ up close but I've seen the damage it can cause

Some years ago, we had a tornado here in Eastern Pennsylvania. Allentown to be more exact. It hit a high school. Luckily, the building was empty because it was summer vacation. The strange thing was that there was no thunder or hail with this. They were rotating showers, and, believe it or not, I believe the tornado was an EF2. That’s pretty powerful. Thank God no one was injured, but it made a hell of a mess!

I been in several tornadoes. Living in tornado alley it gives a respect for Mother Nature.
Thanking God for sparing you from a tornado 🌪 is like sending a thank you note to the serial killer who murdered the family next door. IF there was this God he would have had everyone's back. Yet hundreds die needlessly in tornados, floods, fires, sunami and starvation, murder, etc every single day. Men, women and children unnecessarily. No evidence of any of the thousands of gods before and after the Christian God.

I really noticed this among Midwesterners when I visited America. Just this great sense of community and belonging in which people were very helpful and welcoming. They really came to help me out when I needed it and shared their hospitality.
They were also very interested in knowing about my culture and background, therefore it's really inspirational to see that happening in the gas station with a tornado beaming down on them.
