Strange Weather

Asia in the grip of extreme weather events | DW News

Asia is in the grip of extreme weather events. Heat stroke warnings are in place in Japan, while South Korea is coping with flooding brought on by heavy rainfall. Here’s more on a region that’s seeing first hand the impact of climate change.

For more on this we talk to Earth System Scientist Professor Raghu Murtugudde.

β€œEarly warning systems” yeah we need them now, because we didn’t listen to the early warnings decades ago

Good. Let China bear the consequences of the ridiculous co2 amounts they've been pumping out thorough decades.

I believe that the real problem in this world is not climate change. The real problem is us because of our ignorance and apathy. What we have to do is to start changing our ways, to start recalibrating our minds and redirecting our steps because together, as a global community, our micro-efforts will have a macro-effect to help save our home, our planet. -KAREN IBASCO MISS EARTH2017

the human being has the unique chance of being an interplanetary species, and we are not capable of taking care of our own planet… the worst thing is that we will kill all the other species on the planet before we slowly die

Wouldn't a cooler planet make more server weather as greater temperatures and humidity differences. Wouldn't a cooling planet evaporate more moisture from the equator and deposit it as snow pack. Wouldn't we see record cold temps in Antarctica and Siberia while seeing record hot and drought around the equator on a cooling planett? Sound familiar. Why don't climate models ever predict La Nina. Or is it they do but still labeled as El Nino? Last 25 winters La Nina 50% of the time. La Nina like what caused 1930's dust bowls. 1936 one of the snowiest, coldest, and hottest on records. Right after a bunch of La Nina years. La Nina tends to be snowy and dry lots of drought. Like what we have seen for 25 years. Climate models aren't predicted a warming planet. As we see record snow packs, record cold temps at both poles in the summer even. Record hot temps and dryness at equator. Where's the moisture going? It ain't melting into sea ice. Record low sea ice both poles because record low ice melt. And the Arctic and Antarctica are largest deserts on the planet. I can't be the only one that realizes a cooler drier planet never goes good for humans. Last glaciation as glaciers grew so did deserts. And the sea level went down. How do you think this happens. The equator get hot and dry while the poles gather the moisture and snow packs grow. Mammoth mountain still has 500% of its snow pack. While other places are extremely dry. El Nino makes for more rain and mood food grows. I hope El Nino is a monster the world could use the rain after 3 years of La Nina everything is in drought or flood stages in colder areas.

Climate change not only refers to global warming but global cooling too. Most people wouldn't know global cooling if it was happening around them. Look at the real world data. La Nina causes drought and record snow packs. We have had La Nina 50% of the time last 25 winters. Climate models never predict La Nina only El Nino. Or maybe it's predicting La Nina rather than El Nino. El Nino the crops grow good. El Nino its dry and snowy winters. Mammoth mountain still has 500% of it's snow pack. Antarctica and Siberia just set record cold temps for July. The coldest temperature ever recorded July 14. So all the moisture is evaporating from the equator and going where?

Just today I notice the water from our soil doesn't come out much because no rain at all. It means we will need to dig deeper to get water. I don't know what will happen in 10, 20 years. 😒 I don't wanna buy water like those who live in cities

The climate changes. It always has. Humans adapt, they always have. The Earth will survive and outlive us, as it has many species. Every human on this planet will die when the end of their natural life comes, sometimes before. Holding back the natural changes in the planet’s weather and changes to the climate is like King Kanute, Canut /Cnut commanding the tide and waves. He knew he could not do it despite his authority as a King. Carbon is not a poison, pollutant or problem. It is a building block of life upon our planet.

I don't suppose that any of you Climate "Experts" can explain how we went from predictions of a "New Ice Age" in the 1970's to a prediction of "Global Boiling" in 2023? Who knew that such a wild temperature swing happens every 50 years! I guess if you don't like today's heat, just wait till 2070.

Some commenting how "we will have to start making changes" would be grotesque, wouldn't it be tragic.
While these commenters keep eating meat/diary/fish, drive, fly, consume at obnoxious levels, criticizing companies they keep fueling via unconscious daily choices, permafrost thawed to the point, the underground methane is seeping onto the surface.
Theres a docu on YT on the topic of such Arctic bubbling lakes.

Prayers for the ones harmed/killed by this weather and prayers for the mourning families πŸ™πŸ½πŸ˜žπŸ˜ž

It seems like record breaking weather and catastrophic events are becoming the new normal, and more and more I'm beginning to see we are in the end times πŸ™πŸ½

Matthew 24:7 (KJV) πŸ’₯ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. πŸ’₯

All we can do is turn to the Lord now, repent and begin walking in his laws and commandments. The ones written in Exodus and keep the faith in Jesus because he IS coming soon, to reign on this earth πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

Turn away from the pagan ways of this society, the pagan holidays, customs and laws we keep. Seek the Lord early while he still may be found. Rest up and prepare because bigger and more destructive weather is coming like it has been for every year!

Peace to everyone and be safe in Jesus' name! πŸ•ŠοΈβœ¨πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

The weather is always changing the sun is the main factor of heating of the Earth and the academics won't add the carbon from the volcanoes and making solar panels is destroying the ocean cuz we have to dredge literal Islands away to make these solor panels that'll last 15 years
