Ball lightning is a mysterious phenomena that’s been seen since the beginning of recorded history, but it’s so rare most people put it in the category of folklore or pseudoscience.
However, there’s some new studies that seem to show that ball lightning is not only real, but there’s possibly many different kinds, and there’s a lot we can learn from it.

I like your sense of humor ๐คฃ๐
I have to be watching this in the middle of a tornado watch and am surrounded by lightning ๐ฅฒ๐ฅฒ
I feel like this episode can single handedly solve the world's energy crisis. I mean the answer is right in front of the peoples ๐ฎ๐๐
It can't be stopped! It's self sustaining now
I witness ball lightening as a kid and I thought i saw aliens for the longest time.
I saw ball lightning once when I was a child, after lightning hit and somehow destroyed our phone. It hanged around close to the phone for a few seconds and then went away. I was in the room next to it and it was nighttime so it lit up the area around it with a pretty creepy and bright light.
I love your video editing haha.
When I was in the Pacific islands I was exploring an abandoned hotel during a lightning storm, and one of the girls saw a white glowing ball fly past the window and was so terrified she came running to us yelling we have to leave, she thought it was a spirit but maybe it was one of these lightning balls? anyway, it was scary AS!
Why aren't clouds forming these ball lightings. ๐
I'm honestly not surprised to learn that Lightning produced gama radiation, if it burns hotter than the sun, it's producing fission.
I didn't experience a ball lightning. My mom did when she was young, like 16, and apparently it did enter the room through a window… except it burnt a hole into the window. The glass pane had to be replaced.
I came here because someone on tiktok filmed one and I started googling it
I'm on the Bog
Andre the Giant
Didnt see it, heard it, my friends saw it it buzzed super loud then exploded and scared the shit out of us. Sounded like a substation fault
Iโm sure aliens would know about lighting and tornadoes ๐ I mean if their planet has an atmosphere where storm formation happens then yeah they would know about it
There are videos of this online
You should talk about the connection between neutrinos and lightning How the neutrino is the catalyst that starts the lightning in the clouds

About 45 years ago some relatives and I were standing outside in western Kansas when the sun was going down one summer day. There was a giant, classic anvil-shaped storm cloud heading east (in our direction). On the leading edge of the anvil-shaped cloud we saw ball lightning in groups of 3, 4, and 7. They never floated around, they were always "glued" to the leading edge of the cloud. I don't see how it could be hallucinations, because we all saw the same thing.
I saw one once, it hovered still for a few seconds and it was so bright, then it exploded and the sound was so loud.. ill never forget it, it was incredible to witness
Iโm calling you handsome
And youโre calling me a bacteria on a door knob
Thanks, Joe
I will tell mom ๐ข
My great grandfather claimed ball lighting came down the chimney at our family home and went across the carpeted rug. this was long before i was born but as the story goes it really is a rare occurance he is the only person ive ever heard of mention it besides this video
The sound that dude makes around 0:49 is me watching every storm ever
During a thunder storm, what I believe to have been ball lightening appeared in our office (a converted mezanine floor in a exposed steel frame former farm building) โ A ball of light, roughly the size of a football appeared in the middle of the ceiling; meandered 4 or 5 metres before vanishing with a loud bang against a vertical column. Three witnesses in the office, inclulding myself. An additional witness in the adjacent building claimed to see the ball lightening outside of our building traveling downwards along the exterior wall before reaching us inside.
I'm open to the explanations, including mass electro magnetic induced hallucination โ what ever it was, it was bizarre and very cool!!
sehe, das der Typ ein verlogener Alien ist, kann nicht gerade aus schauen. ๐
