Love all the “feminists” mansplaining the point of the movie for her. She clearly said they she understands the meaning of the movie. People are acting like her saying there were some holes in the plot was an attack on feminism… like she got the point of the movie and understands it’s metaphor. She’s not saying “I hate the female experience”. People are reaching. You can appreciate the message and still have opinions on the film. Sheesh.
Barbie was just awful. It couldve been so much more. Barbie goes into the real world? Like what??? No! We dont need any more real world, we literally try to escape the real world while watching movies. It couldve been upbeat and fun, it couldve been alot of musical and just overall bring joy and nope… I came out of exhausted from that movie

I agree on the Barbie movie comments. The movie is a visual feast for the eyes I don't agree on eating anything from a movie theater. I bring some water (sometimes I allow a diet soda (which I did because it is hot as blazes here in LA)) and one serving of flavored no salt nuts. Gotta keep up the energy but not the calories (I am a nurse).
I think I would have felt the same way about the monologue before becoming a mom, but now having a little girl and feeling ALL of those feelings, it felt very different! I would love to hear what jax thinks after sees it. but I do agree it was definitely cringe and I was cringing at myself 😂

I absolutely loved the Barbie movie. I don’t know why people found it cringe? But honestly to each it’s own. Honestly, I teared up when the Billie Ellish song came on when the flashback scene came on showing young girls with their dolls and stuff. Everyone has their own Barbie experience in life. Barbie was a big part of my childhood in the worse times. It was funny and amazing music. With so many previews they showed, if you found it cringey from that point you shouldn’t have went at all. 😊
