How is it that the media talk about cars getting stranded in high waters. Somebody need to talk about why your car stop running when you try to drive thru high water. I will explain why. The air intake where the air comes in to your engine is just above your fender under the hood. If you drive thru high water, the water gets sucked up into the air intake and the engine can not run on water. When this happens your engine is trash.
