So sick of the slip and slide ring of fire thing in Georgia all freakin week. Please go above us so we can get a break. As far as hearing crickets for no tropical action, let’s be thankful. The gulf has been pounded enough the past two seasons

amapan July 8, 2022 at 8:07 pm

Northeast of Indianapolis, there has been very minimal rain. With the drought and heat wave the air is miserable. Hoping for a decent drenching soon.

I love your channel Ryan. Your a great meteorologist. I love thunderstorms. I live in the Detroit metro area. I haven't heard more than five rolls of thunder from the only three very light storms we've had all season. Every single storm system I've watch move across the radar from western Michigan towards Detroit just weakens quickly as they move across the state. Why does this always happen. Why is is that severe storms seem to be everywhere in the state but southeast Michigan . Its a very dumb question. I just hate missing out on all the cool storms that don't seem to happen in my area.

Marshall's Weather & Hiking July 9, 2022 at 9:03 am

Heavy rain makes storms green. Due to unusually high amount of forward scattering the light takes an unusually long path through the atmosphere. A lot of blue is scattered away on the long path at a low angle under the thick anvil, then passing through many large water drops absorbs some at the red end of the spectrum. When you subtract both blue and red from a normal white sunlight you get green.

We're all roasting in Newton Co Arkansas! All our fruit trees are burned up and there's no relief 😮‍💨….I had to put out water for the 100s of turtle's coming to my property to lay eggs… My well and natural springs have NEVER went dry and turtle usually hangout in small ponds I have for week but it's just dust…. Begging for rain but it passes….

“Water in the gulf is bath water son”

Being from south Louisiana, I 100% love that saying and I’m just here to say, I’m definitely using it😂

Kimberly Ashcraft July 10, 2022 at 6:42 am

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel and all you do to keep people informed and safe! THANK YOU to you and your staff. I also like being able to watch what is going on in Texas, near my younger sister, from way over here in Alabama.
This video is the first time I’ve ever heard you mention being near Paintsville, Kentucky. If you’re a Ryan Upchurch fan, you’ll know why this is EPIC! 😜❤️

Terry Setoguchi July 10, 2022 at 7:23 am

Winnipeg Manitoba I've been praying for hail storms since February and now my encore has arrived in Winnipeg 🙏😇 Jesus is King

robert fox July 10, 2022 at 10:17 am

I love what you did with this video Ryan, and I believe if you incorporate more of that nerdy stuff it will help your channel grow immensely. It could be something like the weather version of national geographic. Students would watch and so would people who just want to learn.

Brushcrawler July 10, 2022 at 9:12 pm

I don't have any rain in the forecast for the next week. Nothing chaotic in central Mich.

Margie Oakes July 12, 2022 at 2:19 am

I live North of Charlotte N.C. and can verify that we had a storm with heavy winds and knock out the power lightning ! It was very close to dropping a "nader" as you call them as the sky was greenish and you could see the clouds swirling around very fast. We got lucky and it didn't happen! Thanks to you we were prepared. POMO
