Environment Canada is a lapdog organization, it doesn't want to create any genuine heightened public consciousness/concern on human induced climate change, because that will have a spillover effect of necessitating that the federal government (and provincial governments) get really aggressive in placing hard borders around the activities/development plans of both Oil and Gas, and the Agricultural/Aviation/Transportation sectors and constraints around construction practices, water usage practices and much more. So the federal government (of any flavour, Liberal, Conservative, or other) keeps a tight lid on the communications activities of Environment Canada….that is obvious, …. EC should be taking a leading role, along with the Environment Ministry. Scientists are shouting at governments around the world to take very serious actions to curtail greenhouse gas emissions drastically. We do not have another decade to squander, we have run out of road.
