Last year there was a huge reduction in pollution due to Covid. It still had the biggest increase in pollution. Hmmm. Not really us then is it? If these predictions are on the cards, there is bugger all we can do about it except enjoy life to the full while we can. You're a long time dead.

Mankind is fooling itself if we think we can possibly affect climate change. Nothing we can do now can possibly alter its course. Just the 40 million acre fire in Siberia is reason enough. After a fire of that size the sheer amount green house gases emitted dwarf anything we can put out. Nitrous oxide is 300 times more potent then CO2. Unless we can get China to reduce their output, climate change becomes a 0 sum game. In the words of Bill Paxton “game over”.
