This belies an appalling lack of knowledge regarding gun fire. Smokeless gun powder was invented in the 19th century. When modern guns are fired, they don’t emit a discernible cloud of smoke. That only happens in TV westerns. So unless the alleged grassy knoll shooter was firing an old musket at the President, or perhaps an 1873 colt single action army revolver, the claim about seeing smoke is simply a non sequitur. The more you know about the facts, the more you realize there was no grassy knoll shooter. Nobody saw one that day. In contrast, at least seven witnesses saw a rifle protruding from the sixth floor window of the TSBD. These were witnesses who reported seeing this in real time on the day of the assassination. Not some looney account concocted decades after the assassination.
