Chief Meteorologist James Spann has the latest update on a strong line of storms moving through the state. A Tornado Watch is currently in effect for several counties until 3 a.m.

The tornado that hit Amory and Smithville almost hit where I was at in Marion County. We did take cover, but thankfully the main circulation went to my west and all of my family and I were safe. Always #RespectThePolygon
Do these kind of winds always come with a tornado? I’m 55 years old and have not seen this kind of wind before a storm. 80 and 90 miles an hour. It’s just unreal it seems.

The velocities we're just insane with that storm. Watched it with Ryan Hall Y'all when it hit Rolling Fork and I just knew, "Yep, the Fork's gone"
