Does he have eye shadow on?

CELEB ALERT! September 28, 2021 at 3:49 pm

Well I bet he feels dumb now because Day After Tomorrow really happened and it was a real movie. It was a true story so I'm suprised he didn't know about that if he's a meteorologist.

I learned more in this video than I did ever in school

I disagree with him saying that natural catastrophes are horrible. It is a natural process of the planet that's constantly changing. Humans just happen to be in its path and deemed it "horrible."
The loss of life and property is horrible yet it can sometimes be prevented if not avoided.

Zephyr Irons September 29, 2021 at 11:13 pm

Wasnt the point of this movie to portray unnatural phenomena?

Edit: talking about a day after tomorrow

Taylor Del Rey September 30, 2021 at 9:18 am

A meteorologist is someone who spends 4 years getting a degree in guessing.

Graydon Panzica September 30, 2021 at 4:15 pm

Why not just stick an instrument on a. Like. Rover or drone or something and fly it into the path of a tornado? Then you don't have to guess where the tornado will go.

Not only that lighting CAN strike twice, it happens often as the conductive channel is "made" by the 1st discharge, a few follow soon after. And "soon" may be so quick, you would think it's just 1 discharge while it's actually a few.

Last part is wrong for all high mountains. There will be a point of no return. Meaning once ur past that point you cannot turn around and survive (in case of injury). So if a life threatening storm occurs and ur past the point of no return…start praying dear child for you are most likely about to die.

Once a hurricane hits land it's not completely calm in the eye there's something called Eddie's that break off due to the friction of the Earth

It's not actually the rubber tires that protects you it's that your car acts more like a Faraday cage

Around 40 minutes it is mentioned that water is a very good conductor. That isn't true. Water is actually an excellent insulator, it's the debris and particles in the water which are the problem.
