Well, the USGS has stated we're a solid 100,000 years away from an eruption. None of us will be alive when this thing pops, at most we might get to see some lava flow.

No I don't think I would make it through an eruption here in Nebraska. GOD has my back and will bring me home! πŸ™

and yet, when you google yellowstone, actual geologists from USGS, using lots of measuring equipment say that as of May 2023, everything is similar for last 2 years. I hope MK is a better astrophysicist than geologist.

At minute 2:45 at the centre top sky seems to be something like a UFO.

And I didn't hear this on national news why???

Chad Perkins June 11, 2023 at 11:58 am

I'm not a geologist, but the Colorado River formed the Grand Canyon. Getting that wrong hurts your credibility.

Mt St Helen's has proven the millions of yrs dating system is a million times wrong. When men ignore God's Word in the Bible, their ignorance is often magnified a million times over.

OMG, now the democrats will be running around telling everybody that Yellowstone is going to erupt due to climate change.

There is a chance to cool the magma chamber. We would need to siphon off the energy of the magma chamber out into space using induction to transfer the energy to a receiving system in space. That system could be super-cooled by keeping it in the shade of the sun and would require magnetic resonance to match that of the ground based system, which would have to be enormous. However, it could be powered by the heat of the magma itself, which is a plus, while the one in space could be powered by the sun. Of course such an operation would cost trillions of dollars, and require governments around the world to cooperate on the project. It would also risk inadvertent mishap, which could backfire and cause the eruption if the energy polarity were to reverse for any reason. Such a system would also potentially play havoc with the earth's magnetic field, and potentially cause an energy arc between the Earth and the sun. However, sound science and expert engineering could be employed to mitigate the chances of mishap, possibly. So we can expect that the human race is incapable of performing this feat, and that whenever the super volcano explodes that will indeed by the end of humanity. Could be tomorrow. Or it could be 20,000 years. But it will happen eventually. Maybe, if it takes long enough, humanity will evolve to a more intelligent, less selfish plane of existence, at which point the potential for engineering a solution becomes possible. Until then, it's a crap shoot. Good luck. At least the cockroaches would survive, which is more than can be said if humans launch WWIII, spreading nuclear, biological and chemical ordinance using AI for maximum efficiency. We stand a better chance with the volcano. And who knows? Maybe it's nature's way of saving life on planet earth from extinction by the human race, which appears to be quite out of control at this point. Just a thought.
