You want bad weather? How about an earthquake? There was an earthquake before game 3 of the 1989 World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland Athletics. This quake originally registered at 7.1 on the Richter scale but was later downgraded to 6.9. This World Series was delayed one week because of the quake. The A's would go on to sweep the Giants in this Series.
