I'm curious on why drivers keep going full force into a turn if they say it's raining. At that point they get what they have coming
I was at the Bristol race when it snowed. I remember some crew member ran out amd dared people to throw snowballs at him. He only did that once lol.

I think one overlooked crazy weather race was 2012 Pocono the second race Jeff Gordon won. For me it was the worst weather I ever saw at a race I attended

I remember watching the 2001 Winston I was 13 at the time when they crashed in turn 1 because of the rain. Letting them get out their backup cars and letting them restart in the same positions was one of the best calls NASCAR has ever made

it was so fucking bizarre seeing snow at VEGAS of all places. I was at both weird weather races at vegas, I had bits of the light coverings getting blown off and hitting the seats around us in 2016. and then everyone took shelter when the rain/snow came in march of this year
I remember that Vegas race in 2016, I was like, "racing in a sandstorm…..now I've seen everything in NASCAR"
I was at the Winston in 01 as a kid when it started raining and at the Bristol Busch Race in 05 when it snowed
