What absolutely fascinating material! Thanks for mentioning whistlers and other ELF radio noises. I didn't realize that those ultra-low frequencies were sometimes amplified by these magnetospheric disturbances by solar storms.

I would like to buy an ELF receiver and walk far from electrical lines to hear these amazing signals. The next time the magnetosphere gets squished

by a solar storm, I'd be likely to be outside picking those signals up. By the way, there's a 4-CD set of these noises you can buy. I've forgotten the title but it features the most energetic of these waves.

Additionally, I understood how the heliopause and bow shocks work. How fascinating that Earth's magnetosphere and the sun's heliosphere react the same. But then it stands to reason as they're both magnetic. In spite of my cat Delta pestering me, I got a lot out of this podcast. It's tempting me to take that space weather course from Millersville, even though I'm retired and have no need to learn about that. I find it absolutely fascinating. Please keep up your good work.
