I don't understand why we have such advanced camera technology in our phones, but they always give us such horrible photos and videos from Mars and other places.

Sadish fact? mars has such low gravity / atmosphere that the strongest winds, dust devils, or dust storms that it would feel no more then a summer breeze here on earth. No cool Martian storm story line intro unfortunately

There are actually crater shadows on Mercury that are at room temperature not just on the middle but also the day side of it.
Though you would still require oxygen obviously and you would still be exposed to the ionizing radiation from the sun.
