We are aware of the following errors in the video, huge thanks to the folks who pointed them out: The dates for Hurricane Katrina shown are correct, but wrong in our audio. Also, in #3, we showed footage from a different typhoon also called Nina. Apologies from the team.

I swear, mother nature has a map of the United States and she throws a dart and wherever the dart hits, she sends her kids down to play( make some damage and kill people). Nature needs to leave us people alone

All the Katrina facts are incorrect. Even the date.

Derek August 13, 2021 at 2:56 am

2 things you missed, 1 that I want to mention. I think you missed the Joplin tornado, and the Childrenโ€™s Blizzard. I was holding out hope for the EF-4 2015 Rochelle-Fairdale tornado as I am from Rochelle. It leveled a few houses and only killed 2 people, so I didnโ€™t really expect it.

Angie Ma-La August 22, 2021 at 5:56 pm

Katrina belongs at the top of the list

I remember when Hurricane Sandy struck when I was 12. However, my electricity went back on after a second and no damage occurred in my apartment. It wasn't until I was 19 when I saw the actual damage done.

Joey Faust September 13, 2021 at 8:12 pm

New Orleans was NOT the hardest hit by Hurricane Katrina. The Mississippi Gulf Coast was. New Orleans just got all of the attention because it's a big city

i live in atlanta & we had a few days off school bc of hurricane sandy. i havenโ€™t seen that happen here since (we had a storm last october that probably wouldโ€™ve caused schools to close but everyone was already doing remote learning)

Kenneth Mcdonald September 26, 2021 at 4:36 pm

New Orleans was not the hardest hit by Katrina that would be other pleces such as Mississippi ,Alabama and Florida and some islands in the Carribbean .I love New Orleans myself but it's issues were from levee breaks and bad management afterwards not the hurricane directly .I wish people would stop saying this .I am not making light of the situation being a survivor of several floods ,hurricanes and tornadoes myself .I feel bad for anyone who goes through these things and understand completely their suffering .I am just sick of the media making it all about New Orleans when others suffered horribly also all over the Carribbean and USA .I find that totally disrespectful to those who lost everything including their lives .Maybe you should look at some footage of where it actually came ashore in Mississippi to get an idea of how destructive it was .Entire towns were taken out there .

Poor Bangladesh. I remember reading that at one point, something like 9 of the 10 most severe natural disasters of the century hit Bangladesh.
