CNN still use kph as the abbreviation for kilometers per hour. In fact kph is gibberish as k stands for 1,000 not kilometer and h doesn't stand for hour. CNN weather forecast need to grasp the difference between common usage and scientific usage. The correct abbreviation for kilometers per hour is km/hr. Which means mph should be changed to mi/hr.
