Weather Extremes Are Devastating California

California’s recent floods led to more deaths than the last two wildfire seasons combined, and they’re only a preview of the state’s extreme weather future.

Media really be trying to scare people and spread negativity. I remember our textbooks telling us back then how a lack of water was going to devastate us in 2020. WE WERE IN A DROUGHT, we needed this rain. Thank the Lord it’s still raining 🙌🏽

Climate change my A&$… this was normal weater in the 1980s and finally its back thats it! Dont make a bigger deal about things than they are.

Eric Rivera March 26, 2023 at 6:30 pm

Everyone with a “Don’t Tread on Me” shirt is probably like good. Meanwhile I still show concern when a tornado takes their home away. Smfh

Eric Rivera March 26, 2023 at 6:33 pm

Also here’s a weird take. Could the climate be this way because we’re finally feeling the effects of the Industrial Revolution and that in time….the climate will get better?

California is kind of genius in a sinister way.

Build no new water storage since the 70’s, stop taking care of forests and clearing dead trees, do nothing to the rivers and water ways and then when they fail take no responsibility upon yourself and blame it all on climate change.

Jose Hernandez March 28, 2023 at 12:43 pm

My Dad Tells Me It Always Has Been Like That Here In Cali In The 70's, 80's, 90's, Etc.. Especially In Monterey County From San Ardo, To Salinas, To Pajaro Vally Or Watsonville And More Towns. It Just Happen That Mother Nature In 2017-2022.. Punished US With Droughts. But Know Mother Nature Hits Back Again With Beautiful Rain 🌧.. I Like In King City Ca. Our River Almosted Over Floated. But My Familu And I Always Are Cautious When It Rains. Hopefully You Be Care Full To!

Everyone was crying about a drought and now that it’s raining everyone is crying again. The planet has its seasons and is always changing. Get over it.

Jay P March 30, 2023 at 1:55 pm

I’m in California and I think all this rain and snow and winds is a blessing not even scary like the news makes it 🤣

Gerardo Mata March 31, 2023 at 2:31 pm

I was working driving to northern Cali doing construction I left that job a month ago im glad I did I dodge all the flooding

Ez Galvan March 31, 2023 at 10:21 pm

About 600m years ago, the Central Valley was a lake.
Why do you think it’s so flat?

The earth will reclaim it eventually off and on.
Our climate influences are speeding up the process.

Despite the economic downturn,I'm so happy☺️. I have been earning $ 60,200 returns from my $7,000 investment every 13days.

Phillip Kaaihue April 5, 2023 at 7:58 am

explanation for tates plz

Roger Sampaio April 6, 2023 at 6:43 am

If with California they're doing this, imagine what they'll do with Miami

HURRRScoince April 11, 2023 at 8:27 pm

Just a thought though…don't build a home in an obvious flood zone if so AT LEAST give it a higher foundation to sit on top of. Stone or something.

All this crazy stuff be happening everywhere meanwhile new England is chilling lol

Claus April 17, 2023 at 6:29 pm

This is how the climate works in California. There are dry years, then there are wet years. It has always been like this, and it will continue into the future.

kay El May 31, 2023 at 6:42 am

There's natural Disasters everywhere in the USA that are devastating the states it runs through however California is just too expensive to repair and rebuild which sets it apart from most states, if the weather gets bad enough to develope full on tornado this state will be unsalvageable
