The use and abuse of the planet but 1980 was pretty extreme too!
Climate change is now abrupt, exponential, and irreversible. It is accelerating much sooner and with my more ferocity and frequency than scientist's models predicted. Human beings are in deep trouble. I urge everyone to contact your elected officials and express your concern. Do everything you can or else we won't be here.
and republicans want to keep pretending climate change does not exist

First it is a grand El Nino & that does affect our south. New England here is sort of menza menza. Next, the Hadley Cells–high pressure regions in the subtropics that fuel our heatwaves have migrated further north so they are closer. They are pulled by the moon's gravity just as tides. Next we still have a buckled jetstream-strong polar vortex.
That means, No one can control climate, not even any man except the creator of the universe is the only one who can control it, Jesus is coming back soon. Repent when there is still more time and grace.
