Can you think of a reason why proposed idea to produce cheapest and cleanest hydroelectricity 24/7 permanently should not be explored globally to solve our unsolved problems?
Simple idea which will solve many of our unsolved serious climatic problems by providing us clean and cheapest hydroelectricity 24/7 forever without being dependent on fossil fuel, nuclear energy, wind, light, gas, waves, fracking etc.
We do have option to generate massive amount of clean/cheap hydroelectricity simply by circulating water as described below by taking advantage of force of gravity.
To generate hydroelectricity even from sea water without building a dam all we have to do is to:
1. Build a reservoir for say 50,000 gallons on a cliff say about 200 ft. high. Since we will continually refill this reservoir as described below we don’t need reservoir to be too big.
2. Initially fill this reservoir with water using pumps powered with external source of electricity.
TO GET THE SYSTEM WORKIN all we have to do is to
1. Release say 5,000 gallons per min. of water back to the sea through funnel shaped outlet pip (wide at top and narrow at the bottom) Force of gravity and funnel shaped outlet pipe will provide water enough force to drive hydro turbine at the bottom of outlet pipe thus eliminating the need to build a dam. (Simple logic)
2. On the outlet pipe attach multiple hydro generators which will generate enough electricity to provide power to the pumps to replace water drained out from the reservoir. (Simple logic)
Once we let water flow through outlet pipe hydro generators WILL provide enough power to the pumps to refill the reservoir. Water at the bottom of the outlet pipe WILL provide enough force to drive hydro turbine to provide us with massive amount of clean and very cheap hydroelectricity. Simple logic)
Energy required to pump water to reservoir is fraction of kinetic energy required to do the same task. To our advantage pumps use virtually same energy to pump amount of water horizontally or vertically. This domino effect will work because force of gravity only works in downward direction in this system. (Simple logic)
There is no reason why we cannot make this system work when we have materials which will not get corroded with sea water plus now we also have very efficient generators, pumps, turbines and most important the force of gravity to accelerate water to drive turbine.
If the location is right this system will also work with water from lakes, rivers, reservoir etc. We could also take advantage of high mountains by having two reservoirs one at the top and one at the bottom plus we could have multiple such power stations using the same reservoirs. (Simple logic)
